No meal is complete without dessert! This Easy 15 minute Matcha Tiramisu is quick to make and is the perfect level of sweetness– light and not overwhelming.

Typically, tiramisu recipes require the use of raw eggs and must be chilled for a couple of hours to set. Not only does this creamy dessert bring a unique twist to the classic tiramisu by replacing coffee with matcha, it is also eggless, doesn’t involve baking, and is ready to eat right away!
The key to making this recipe eggless? Using heavy cream! Heavy cream, when whipped thoroughly, adds the same fluffiness that eggs would add, and creates the perfect smooth and creamy texture.
For this recipe, you’ll need:
- 8 oz full fat mascarpone cheese
- 4 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipping cream, chilled
- For the matcha mixture:
- 2 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- For the matcha honey:
- 4 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 8 Lady finger biscuits
How to make Matcha Tiramisu:
- Whisk together the mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

2. Add in the whipping cream and whisk using hand mixer until stiff peaks.

3. For the matcha mixture: mix together matcha powder, water, and sugar.
4. For the matcha honey: mix the matcha and honey. If it’s difficult to mix, microwave for 5 seconds to warm up the honey.
5. Dip both sides of the lady finger biscuits in the matcha mixture. Soak it thoroughly but quickly so that it doesn’t become too soggy.
6. Break the biscuit in half and put it at the bottom of the cup. I’m using ramekins here but you can use any transparent cup! Just fit the biscuit accordingly.

7. Drizzle the matcha honey on top of the biscuits.

8. Add a layer of the mascarpone mixture, about ½” thick, and smooth the top with a knife so it’s flat.
9. Add another layer of the matcha-dipped biscuits.

10. Top with one more layer of the mascarpone mixture, and smooth the top with a knife so it’s flat.

11. Drizzle some matcha powder on top.

12. Repeat steps 5-11 for three more cups! You can enjoy right away OR let it sit in the fridge for 3-4 hours so the lady fingers soften up more!
